Paula Coghlan, 2006 EM Graduate

Emergency Medicine Residency Program

HFH offers a three year (PGY 1-3) residency training program in Emergency Medicine, that is ACGME approved and leads to ABEM board certification in Emergency Medicine.

The residency has produced over 300 practicing emergency physicians who have gone on to successful careers as clinicians, educators, researches, chairmen and administrators. HF-EM graduates are located all over the USA and internationally. They have a long track record of obtaining highly competitive fellowships in critical care, ultrasound, pediatrics, toxicology, ED administration, sports medicine, research and international EM. Our mission is to educate residents who are outstanding clinicians.

The curriculum is based on a process of progressive responsibility that takes residents on a journey from the medical student to the independent attending staff level.
